As a new CEO, our one-on-one coaching sessions provide me with a comfortable and safe environment to talk about my frustrations, fears, goals, etc. and take action to move forward. Alison is helping me to discover my strengths and to develop a more effective management style.

What started off to be a coaching session to enhance my career, turned into an eye opening, life-changing experience. After being with a company for several years, the day-to-day duties seemed to be mundane. I had lost the excitement of my job, a job I thought I would enjoy for many more years. Thoughts of finding a new job or even a brand new care were heavily considered. Alison’s support and asking the right questions gave me the courage to take steps in finding that excitement of work again. Since then, I’ve made a change in my life and an enjoying every minute!

"When the pupil is ready, the teacher will come." (Chinese Proverb) Alison entered my life at a very confusing and scary time. I knew I needed a change, but didn’t know to what. It was worse than teenage angst because the fear and doubts and uncertainty were accompanied by the obligations and duties of adulthood. Alison helped me sift through the issues. She taught me techniques to look inside and discover what was really important to me. She also showed me the importance of slowing down and taking care of myself. After 22 years of living in a fast-paced corporate environment, doing what needed to be done, I finally got off the wheel! I am focusing on living by my values and am loving every minute of my life now.

I acquired an enhanced understanding of my personal goals and objectives, which helped me mesh these with the current organizational goals and objectives in positive and helpful ways.

Alison encouraged me to focus on discovering the specifics of my dissatisfaction and to develop strategies to manage them for more positive outcome for myself and for the organization.

What I have learned through our meetings will follow me wherever I go and whatever I do. It opened my eyes to look at others and myself in a different light, thus making life's challenges a lot easier to manage and accept.

Just wanted to say, thank you so much for teaching our class. I thought it was absolutely  wonderful. I know the young women all loved their class and I'm sure you have or will affect someone's life in the future, if not now.

Your style is highly effective to engage the learner and transfer the learning into action steps…thank you for that gift!
